I got the balance sheet from Mr.Pickford, which seems reasonable. I should be able to make a living wage from it at say £600 providing the optician’s status remains as it is. I will, however, seriously, consider staying in the forces if requested at rank of captain in REME on the optical side. A combination I feel is hardly likely to be offered me. I wonder what the possibilities in Wholesale and Manufacturing are like?
