Friday 15th September 1944

At midday, having made a false start because of the hand brake, we set off, Brooke, Stradley and myself. We had to pass right through the clouds with fog and rain and without much trouble made MRB in six and a half hours non-stop. 135 miles.

Note: MRB possibly = Maintenance Review Board
