Letters, diaries and photographs from World War II

Friday 15th December 1944

RHQ sends in a B.L.R M.C. for repair. No can do. We have Sunter and Best to dinner.

RHQ = Regional Headquarters

B.L.R. appears to be The Browning BLR, a lever-action rifle manufactured by Browning Arms Company. It comes in many different variations and is chambered in calibers from .22-250 Remington to .325 WSM and .450 Marlin.

I have been unable to find out what M.C. stands for.
